This is an excellent article I found when I Googled "what is hell like?" It is scary and not for the faint of heart. But, for those who believe that the Bible is the word of God then every word of it truly describes hell. Pastor McCarty (Healing Waters Church) feels strongly that we should all learn about hell so we better understand why we want to live a more "Christ-like" life. Many people feel that we have a loving God who would never subject us to the horrors of hell. Yes - we have a very loving God, who is always there for us "when WE call on Him." But remember, we have a free will and God will never force Himself on us. We have to come to Him on our own. And it's so simple to do - all we do is ask Him to come into our hearts.
